We hold classes every Wednesday and Friday evenings. Scroll down for full details.
Covid 19 safety - Despite the relaxation of government restrictions we continue to take the safety of our members very seriously. You should not attend class if you have tested positive or if you are displaying any symptoms (even if you think it's just a cold) or if you think you may have been exposed. You should bring hand sanitizer with you and use it before and after training.
Fire exit doors will remain open to maximise fresh air ventilation.
We also request that all participants take a lateral flow test at home prior to coming to class. This is for the safety of all.
Click here to order lateral flow tests to be delivered to your door for free by post.

ULEZ - Please note that both our venues below are in the Ultra Low Emission Zone, so if you are driving in from outside the ULEZ you will have to pay a charge if your vehicle is not compliant. To check your vehicle click here.

Enter via the main gates on Essex Road and look for Orient House, directly in front of you at the very back. We are in the main sports hall.
There is a small, free car park on site. Parking is also available in the nearby residential streets after 6:30pm.
The nearest Tube station is Leytonstone (Central Line) which is approximately 15 minutes walk.
Every Wednesday evening, 7:30pm to 9pm, a single 90 minutes session for all grades. All our classes are mixed - adults and children train together and are for all abilities. Beginners will train just for the first hour and will be in a separate group.
Special note - For a six week period our usual venue above will be unavailable due to the sports hall being used for school exams. So, from 18th May 2022 to 22nd June 2022 inclusive we will be temporarily moving to the main assembly hall at Leytonstone School, 159 Colworth Road E11 1JD (this is the old hall that we used to train in before Covid). After this period we will return to Leyton Sixth Form College as usual.

7:30pm to 8:30pm - All grades class (beginners will be in a separate group with Sensei Barbara and all other grades with Sensei David).
8:30pm to 9:30pm - Advanced class - black & brown belts only (but on an invitation basis we will ask some lower grades to participate in this class as a valuable part of their development).
We expect those participating in the second hour to also train for the first hour too, hence two hours of training for just one fee, albeit the first hour pitched at a lower level.
In the run up to gradings, the above might change to allow everyone to have a bit more time to practice their grading syllabus.
