ULEZ - Please note that both our venues below are in the Ultra Low Emission Zone, so if you are driving in from outside the ULEZ you will have to pay a charge if your vehicle is not compliant. To check your vehicle click here.

We train on Wednesday and Friday evenings (different venues - details below). You are free to attend either or both. Adults and children train together.

We train barefoot. Beginners can just wear loose clothing until they get their karate uniform (gi). For safety reasons, please remove all jewellery, watches etc... or tape it up if it cannot be removed.

With the exception of occasional Wednesday classes at Leytonstone School (see below) both evenings follow the same structure:

7:30pm to 8:30pm - All grades class (beginners will usually be in a separate group with Sensei Barbara and all other grades with Sensei David).

8:30pm to 9:30pm - Advanced class - aimed at black & brown belts but on an invitation basis we will ask some lower grades to participate in this class as a valuable part of their development.

We expect those participating in the second hour to also train for the first hour too (although not compulsory), hence two hours of training for just one fee, albeit the first hour pitched at a lower level.

In the run up to gradings, the above might change to allow everyone to have a bit more time to practice their grading syllabus.
